Perched on a bluff overlooking the turquoise waters of the Aegean on the picturesque Sithonia Peninsula, this luxurious hideaway is set amidst verdant pine trees, lush gardens and golden sand beaches. A member of the 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World', the Danai Beach Resort provides an ambiance of charm and elegance in the neo-classical style. Its 75 tastefully furnished guest rooms and suites are set within residences throughout the gardens and the suites also include either an open-plan or separate sitting room. The two-bedroom Presidential suites and one-bedroom Executive suites all provide a separate sitting room, whilst the latter also have their own private plunge pool overlooking the beachfront.
The resort has good leisure facilities and watersports are available on the beach. A golf course and scuba diving are available nearby and tours to local wineries can also be arranged. The fishing ports of Nikiti and Metamorphosis are just four kms and two kms away respectively.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and fight Macedonian dishes can be enjoyed at the 'Pavillon' sea view restaurant which is open throughout the day, whilst the 'Grill' beachside restaurant offers a tempting selection of barbecued seafood and steaks. In the evening the romantic cliff side restaurant offers gourmet dining under the stars. Refreshments can be enjoyed at the sea and pool side bars.
