Chania, situated on the north-western coast, was the capital of Crete at the turn of the century. This was the time of its greatest prosperity. Nowadays, it is a working city and ideal for exploring. Within the heart of the city, the old town is quite small. The street of the leatherworkers is industrious and always of interest to visitors. Market traders can sometimes be found among the harbour's vaulted colonnades and typically, the town is hallmarked with a Venetian fortress.
Located within the attractive old town of Chania, close to the Venetian harbour, the Casa Delfino Suites is an elegant and attractively restored 17th Century Venetian Mansion.
